The first thing you need to do is find a perfect cleaning solution, that’s ammonia free. That is because, the substance of ammonium hydroxide can damage the coloured elements. Stained glass is precious, that’s why we would recommend to use microfibre cloth to clean stained glass, rather than simple kitchen roll, or worse, newspaper. Also you want to make sure, that you are using enough pressure to actually remove any dirt or grime.
